I made this card yesterday but have only just had a chance to post it. For this card, I have used the latest sketch from the DT at Feeling Sketchy. I've had this masterboard sitting on my desk for a while so thought I would use it. I stamped some circles over it then die cut a hole out of it and then stamped my sentiment under it. This sentiment is out of a new set of stamps I got just this week and I can see it becoming a firm favourite. I then fussy cut some flowers left over from another card and added bling to them. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend planned.
Well another month has gone by...this year is just flying and with the start of a new month, there is a new Tim Holtz Tag Challenge.
Tim's tag is very masculine but I have decided to go feminine and use a stamp out of a new set I got only this week. I've also used a sentiment from another stamp set and fussy cut out what I wanted and the row of shoes that are in the same set as well. I think overall it needed to be a bit brighter than it turned out...but oh well, these things happen. Thanks for popping by.

And another card for my stamping Saturday...for this card I have taken up the challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches where they have a double challenge happening. They want you to make a card using the colour combo and the sketch. I started off using my DI's but they didn't stamp clearly for my 'banner' stamp so I dug out my chalk inks which I must admit haven't seen the light of day for a very long time but the troopers that they are...they stamped like I had only bought them yesterday!
Thanks for popping by....
Another card for my stamping Saturday with my stamping bestie while we Skype together and challenge each other. This card feels so 'right' as I am turning into a CAS stamper more and more. I have used the latest CAS(E) this Sketch for inspiration and the latest colour combo from colourQ. I just adore the softness of Distress Inks and they have worked perfectly for this card.
For today's card I have used a masterboard I had made using the left over colours from some other creation. I then stamped the floral stamp in strips with Weathered Wood Distress Ink onto it as I just wanted it to be soft in the background. I then added some flowers a die cut frame and sentiment and finished off with stamping 'friend' under it. I have actually added a little glitter on the frame but it's not really showing up in the pic. Today, I'm playing along with Try Stampin' on Tuesday...thanks for stopping by.
