Celebrate!!

Hi All, my good friend Robyn became a Grandma for the first time on Sunday...she now has a beautiful little granddaughter named Sophie! I've made this card to celebrate the birth of little Sophie. This card turned out really pretty, I hope you like it too. I'm entering it in the latest challenge from CAS(E) this sketch. Thanks for taking a peep.

Friends are the most important ingredient...

I finally opened a couple of the new die cuts that I got from the craft show that have been sitting here looking at me for a couple of weeks. For this card I have taken up the challenge from the DT of Inspired by Stamping who want us to embossed edges. Thanks for stopping by...

Christmas Cardinals

This is my last card for the day/night...I think I will go and have a shower and veg in front of the TV. This card is a little left of centre but I wanted to use my little cardinal (not that we get them in Oz...well I'm pretty sure). I tried all different colours but the black is what looked the best so I went with it. This layout is courtesy of the DT from The Paper Craft Crew. As always, thanks for popping by and I hope you have a great weekend. Until next time...happy stamping.

Christmas waves a magic wand....

My cards are coming out hard and fast at the moment which is a nice change as I have really lost my mojo of late. The fact that most of them are CAS cards helps...lol. Anyway, I have made this card using the latest challenge from Annabelle Stamps, as soon as I saw it I thought of this new stamp I got while on holiday. Make sure you pop on over and check out their blog. Thanks for stopping by...

Christmas Wishes

Well, I found this stunning card that Chupa made (check it out here) and I just had to case it! I love the contrast of the black and it was fun to play with my distress inks again....note to self, need more colours!! Thanks for the inspiration Chupa. I am also entering my card into Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge.

Season's Greetings

Well I'm back with another Christmas card for my collection. For this card I have used a bit of creative licence for the latest sketch from Cas(e) this Sketch. I have cut out the holly branch and then layered it on green. Nice and simple but I think it looks effective especially with my little berries.

Precious...

Here's my first card and first post for several weeks and it has been nice to sit at my desk. We had a week's holiday visiting family and friends and I was asked if I could make a card for the birth of a Great Granddaughter and this is what I made. I just have to find a nice verse for the inside which is turning out to be harder than I thought...Hopefully I will be back later today, we are off to finally do our tax (we hate tax time and seem to put it off all the time) and then who knows what today will bring as it's my birthday. Hubby & daughter both have to work tonight so I can see myself probably crafting tonight which will be nice. I am entering this card over at Red Carpet Studio where their latest challenge is honoring Breast Cancer Month wanting pink and Dynamic Duo's colour combo is monochromatic pink so it's all about PINK which really suited my card. As always, thanks for popping in.
