For You...

Woohoo!! Here I am posting my fourth card!! I think that's up there as a bit of a record....I had stamped this truck for another card but never ended up using it so I thought I would use it for the latest sketch over on Try Stampin' on Tuesday so I'm really happy...two xmas cards + two male cards today!! But sadly that's it for me today, I'm off to a linen party...hmmm...don't really want to but I'm being a good friend. Anyway until next time, happy stamping.

Happy Birthday....distress inks

Well I'm on a bit of a roll today considering I started off with no real mojo at all...I actually have to thank my friend Robyn for that, she has kept me going today. I am actually in a much better frame of mind this afternoon from when I sat down this morning. Thanks Robyn! The last couple of weeks I have wanted to play with my distress inks but haven't got around to it but after checking out Sketchbook Saturday earlier, I really got a push along that path...thanks Chupa...and Therese too who inspired Chupa. In saying that, my card was going to be 'female' but the colours pushed me towards a 'male' card so my layout isn't really like Chupa's sketch, only vaguely. Oh well, that happens sometimes anyway, thanks for stopping in.

Christmas Baubles

My good friend Robyn had made a really cool Christmas card for a challenge last week and I really liked it so I decided to 'case' it. Check it out here. For colour inspiration I have used the latest challenge from the colour Q DT. I'm very happy to have 2 more cards added to my xmas stash, thanks for the inspiration Robyn.

Happy Saturday Stamping Friends, today I am sitting at my desk making Christmas cards to add to my collection. For this card I have used the latest sketch at Freshly Made Sketches as I'm on the hunt for sketches that will suit a Christmas theme and I thought this one was perfect.

Well I did make it back with another Christmas card but looking at my photo it doesn't look very clear and I think it's because I have added a watermark, I will check it out after I've posted. Anyway for this card I'm actually entering it into several challenges!! My design is from Freshly Made Sketches, my colours are from Inspired by Stamping, Inkspirational have a card to CASE, Cards in Envy want Birds and Christmas Cards All Year Round are having a Christmas Extravaganza and want fussy & fancy...check to all of the above!! Well I'm off to do a bit of blog surfing, hope your day is going well. Until next time, happy stamping.

Big 50!!

Hello Stamping Friends, it's Friday in Oz...woohoo and with hubby at work, I have been able to spend some time at my craft desk. A good friend of ours is turning 50 next week and he is always buying and selling cars so I thought an 'auto' theme would suit him perfectly even if the car is a lot older than 50 years, that's a subtle hint he's getting old! heehee For my design I have used the latest sketch from CAS(E) this sketch, make sure you pop on over and check out the great cards using this layout.
Well I guess I should go and find myself some dinner, it's an anythings go night tonight with my son & I. Think it's going to be a toastie with left over spaghetti bologonese and cheese and hot sauce....hmmm
As always, thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Poinsettia

Well I'm on a bit of a roll today which is great as I've had no inspiration of late. This card I have made to add to my Christmas card stash and for the layout I have used the latest design over at Merry Monday and over at ABC Christmas Challenge they want something starting with 'P' so I went with poinsettias. I'm very happy with this card and I absolutely LOVE this flocked poinsettia paper but sadly it is almost gone. Oh well that's why we buy these pretty for stopping by.

Monochromatic Male Birthday

As promised I'm back with another card and it's another male monochromatic card. I have chosen the latest layout over at Cardabilities I am finding it so much easier to go with these colours when making male cards, especially for the younger male. I am skyping with my Saturday Stamping Buddy Robyn and we have just taken up the challenge to make some Christmas cards so that's what my next post will be...pop on by if you have time. As always, thanks for stopping by.
