Sketches: Creatively Yours #512

Hi Fellow Stampers, well it is reveal time for the DT of S-CY latest card sketch. I was in a bit of a flap the other week, thinking I hadn't made my card for this sketch so whipped one up with only a day or so to spare before the cut off date only to find out I had made one already!!! LOL!!! That is my life right at this moment, very hectic, so I had completely forgotten I had already made one. But that's fine, can never have too many cards up your sleeve to pick from for an upcoming birthday. Anyway, I hope you like them. Make sure you stop by S-CY and check out the other talented ladies creations. There is always lots to look at over there. Until next time, happy stamping.

Deconstructed Sketch #52

Hello Friends, well I am back with my second card for the day. For this card I have used the latest Deconstructed Sketch for inspiration and for a while now, I have felt the need to make a black & white card so that's the colours I've used. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by, until next time, happy stamping.

MFT Wednesday Sketch Club #72

Hi Stampers, I am at my usual post today....Saturday is stamping day with my mate Robyn as long as life doesn't get in our way. Today it has been internet connections....not good, which is a pain as we stamp together via Skype. But for the moment it is all good so I am quickly posting my latest creation before I lose it again. Today, I have used this weeks MFT Wednesday Sketch. I had to make a 'thankyou' card that would hold a voucher for a friend who helped me out recently. As he is male, I have chosen 'male' colours and not a lot of bling....lol....well I am off to look at some other sketches. Thanks for stopping by, hope you come back again soon.

Deconstructed Sketch #51 & Designer Seeds

Well, I'm back with my second card today. This time I have used the latest Deconstructed Sketch & my choice of colours from the Designer Seeds blog. I quite like how this card turned out and I used those little flowers for the first time....I think....lol!!! Thanks for stopping by, until next time...happy stamping.

Mojo Monday #240 & Designer Seeds 515

Hello Fellow Stampers, well it has been several weeks since I have been able to sit down at my craft desk and make a card and it feels great!!! Today I have used the latest Mojo for my design and for something different I have used a colour pallet from 'Designer Seeds'. This is a blog my good friend Robyn came across the other day so we picked a colour selection each and our challenge is to make a card using them. This selection is Robyn's choice, next card I will use my colour pick. I must say it was definately a challenge trying to incorporate all the colours...not sure I did in the end anyway but it was fun. Check out the site there are some stunning colour combinations there. Thanks for stopping by....until next time....

Mojo #238

Well, I am back again with my take on this weeks Mojo. I must admit when I first looked at it I wasn't impressed with this sketch but after looking at some of the amazingly creative ladies out there it got my juices going and this is what I came up with. I am really happy with how this card turned out and I am really pleased with myself because I have used some of my 'scraps' to make it. Thanks for taking a peek and until next time, happy stamping.

S:CY #412

Hi All, well it's ANZAC day in Australia today so we have a public holiday to remember the fallen & the men & women who have or are still fighting for our great country. After doing a bit of admin work, then going to the ANZAC parade, visiting my beautiful little nieces and my big niece & nephew I came home and did some housework till my mate text me to see if I was doing any stamping today. I must admit I had intended to but just didn't have any mojo happening but after getting online and skyping with Robyn it boosted both our mojo's so here we are. Before I post the card I made today here is the card I made for the April card sketch on Sketches: Creatively Yours.

Make sure you hop across and check out the very talented ladies we have on the DT on this great blog. Be back shortly....

Sweet Sunday Sketch #156

Well I am back with another card for my stamping Saturday. I really like this card!! I just love the blue, soft brown & green together, I think it looks very pretty. For the design of this card I have used the latest Sweet Sunday sketch. It felt like a 'male' sketch to me but I really wanted to use these papers so I took the plunge and this is what I came up with. I hope you like too. Thanks for stopping by and until next time, happy crafting.

Inspired by Stamping #4 + The Shabby Tea Room #109

IBSIC-#4

Hi Blogger Friends, well today is a good day!! I am stamping with my friend Robyn finally, as she has been away for the last 4 weeks. Well the good thing was, she was actually in Townsville as her daughter was getting married so I got to see her in person but it meant no stamping together as she has been busy making bridesmaid dresses. The wedding went well and is all over and she got home yesterday, so here we are!! She had to fly all the way back to West Oz just so we could spend the afternoon together skyping & stamping!!! LOL!!! Technology is amazing....gotta love Skype!!!
Anyway, back to my card. Today I have used the latest sketch from Inspired by Stamping & for the colour scheme I have used the latest Shabby Tea Room colours. Part of the Shabby Tea Room challenge was to make a birthday card that also had a cupcake on it. I must admit, I have struggled with this card for some reason and still don't know if I am completely happy with it...but it is what it is. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by. I am off to make another card so hopefully I will be back soon. Until then, happy stamping.

Deconstructed Sketch #46 + Inspired by Stamping - IBSIC#3

Mla101446_0406_tulipstable_xl

Hi Stampers, well I finally finished this card that I started yesterday and just found out I missed posting it in time for both challenges!!! Not to worry, as you can see I used the Deconstructed Sketch #46 for the design and IBSIC #3 challenge for the Colour Scheme. I really like this card and it is not really 'me' as I don't gravitate to these type of colours so it's nice when you step outside the square and it turns out well. Hope you like it too and thanks for stopping by. Until next time...happy stamping.

Inspired by Stamping - IBSIC#2

IBSIC2

Hi All, I hope your weekend is going well. We have been away up to a friends 'beach hut' for the weekend so I didn't get much time to stamp this weekend. Luckily for me, we got home a bit earlier than normal, so after cleaning up & unpacking, I stole a short afternoon nap and woke up recharged and with an urge to do some stamping. My friend Robyn came across this new challenge site 'Inspired by Stamping' earlier in the week and flicked the link onto me so I thought I would support them & make a card using their sketch. For some unusual reason, I felt like making a 'male' card (that is not normal for me) and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it & make sure you check out the new challenge blog 'Inspired by Stamping' and join in the fun. Until next time, happy stamping.....

The Sweet Stop #SSS151 & The Play Date Cafe #124

Hello Fellow Bloggers, well I actually sat down again this morning and made another card, this is a big thing considering I didn't really feel like stamping at all this weekend!! For this card, I chose the latest sketch from The Sweet Stop & for the colours the latest challenge from Play Date Cafe. These are really colours I would think of combining but that is what makes it fun. Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by. Until next week, happy stamping or whatever else life brings you.
