Joy to the World

Another Christmas card for my collection...for this card I have used the colour combo and the photo inspiration from Inspired by Stamping. I stamped the wreath in the two purples then added teal pearls to jazz it up a bit. I also mounted one of the IBS Holiday Sentiments onto teal card then mounted it off the base card to make it pop. Thanks for popping by....

Happy Birthday

Another card for my stamping Saturday..for this card, I have used the latest layout from Cardabilities and the colour combo from Color Throwdown. The background paper I made using Distress Inks and some stencils and the pink flowers I made using a flower punch and some pearls. I find it's always that bit more satisfying making your elements and actually using them...lol...
As always, thanks for popping by...

Believe

Hi All, happy days as my friend is stamping with me again...3 Saturdays in a row, I think that's a record. Sadly she will be going home again soon so we will have to revert to our Skype dates but that's better than nothing.
Anyway, onto my card, another Christmas card for my collection. I have taken up the latest challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch and Merry Monday who want Pine Cones, Greens and the word Believe.
Thanks for stopping by....

Just for You

Hi Stampers...I had a lovely day today with two good friends who came and spent time creating with me and here is one of my creations. I really love this card...I used the latest sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch, the colour combo from Color Throwdown and the technique...stenciling....that Happy Little Stampers asked for and I'm also entering it for our small ABC challenge for the G theme - Geometric. I have several bird stamps but this is my favourite, I stenciled the background with DI then stamped the bird and verse onto the card...done! I just love making CAS cards and I'm really happy with how this card turned out. Thanks for stopping by and pop on over and check out some of this weeks great challenges.

Hi Fellow Stampers, todays card I made a few weeks ago for Deborah's Card Chain Challenge where you sign up to send a card to another stamper. I got to send mine to Cat in America and now that she has received it, I can post it. I used the CCC layout and colour combo to create my card and here is my creation. Make sure you pop on over and check out Deborah's blog and even maybe join in the next Card Chain. Until next time, happy stamping.

Tree of Friendship

Another card for my special stamping Saturday, this Saturday is special as my best buddy is in town and was able to spend the day playing in my craft room with me. For this card I have taken up the challenge from CAS(E) this Sketch. I sponged a tree template with Distress Ink and then stamped a new sentiment and used my new little bird die I got this week and added some 'flowers' to the tree. As always, thanks for popping in. Hope you have a great weekend...

Make every minute count

My last creation for the day...this time I am playing along with the DT over at CAS(E) this Sketch. I didn't intend on making a male card...it just evolved into that as these things do. I really like this stamp set and have used it a few times now as it has some great verses in it. Anyhoo...I'm off to do a few things around the house. Happy Weekend Wishes to you all, until next time, happy stamping.

I love flowers....Tag

Hi All.....well I'm back after several weeks of not playing at my desk and it feels good. After sorting out what birthday cards I had to get in the post this week, I took up the Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015 challenge and as I'm a challenge behind with our ABC Challenge, lucky for me I have to make an F tag and Tim had flowers on his tag...done....it was meant to be! lol

This is also a stamp I haven't had a chance to play with too, so I'm pleased to be able to christen it. It stamped up lovely and I coloured the flowers in with Tombow pens and an aqua brush.

I then cut out the 'love' with a reasonably new set of dies, inked up the work 'flowers' off a verse stamp and inked and fussy cut an 'i' from an alphabet set. I then did some faux stitching as I just couldn't be bothered setting my sewing machine up for that...I'm sure you know how it feels when 'that's just too much trouble' <grin> and this is then end result. Hope you had a great Easter and are off to a good start for the weekend, thanks for stopping by.

Card Chain Challenge March '15

Hi All, I made this card a few weeks ago for the March Card Chain Challenge over at Society of Stampholics. I sent my card to Jutta from Alberta, Canada. I used a new bird die I had bought recently and made the background with DI's in soft pinks with a dash of lavender. Make sure you pop on over to Deborah's blog and join in...it's fun and they are calling for players for April's Card Chain.
